Gray Classic Released First Mixtape Project In 2010

In 2008, Gray was working out at a fitness gym, after working an eight hour shift at Macy's. While working out on a squat machine, Gray was approached by an employee that worked inside of the fitness gym. The employees name was Johnathan and he was also an up-in-coming independent rapper who owned a recording studio. Johnathan asked Gray if he was a rapper or a singer. Gray was listening to music on his Apple IPOD that day while working out. Gray was listing to music on big recording studio headphones before it became popular, after the release of Dr. Dre's Beats Headphones.

Johnathan assumed Gray was a rapper because he was wearing big studio headphones and invited Gray to his recording studio. Gray had been waiting his entire life to receive an invitation to a recording studio. Gray didn't hesitate to accept the invitation. When Gray arrived to Johnathan's recording studio he was like a kid in a candy shop. Gray instantly fell in love with Johnathan's recording studio and began working on his first mixtape. In 2010, Gray released his first mixtape titled "In The Zone".

Gray Classic Re-Releases “Get That Cash” Single

Gray Classic still remembers the day that he recorded his “Get That Cash” song. It was Novemeber of 2014 and Gray just heard about a new recording studio located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Gray was having issues finding a good quality recording studio to record his music in. Gray decided to checkout this new recording studio called Markee Recording Studios. Gray stopped by Markee, for a quick tour and was very impressed by how the facility looked. The recording studio looked like a recording studio that he saw in movies. Markee had a rock star vibe about it. Gray knew a lot of big name recording artist worked in Markee recording studio. Gray knew he had hit the jackpot with this recording studio.

After getting a quick fifteen minute tour of Markee Recording Studios, Gray paid to book one hour in the recording studio. The next day Gray arrived to the recording studio session fifteen minutes late. When Gray arrived he met with the audio engineer and quickly hopped in the booth to begin recording his songs.

Gray planned on recording two songs on this day. The first song that Gray began recording, was a song titled “The Top”. When Gray was recording “The Top” he was a little rusty and his vocals came out sounding flat. When it was time to record “Get That Cash”, Gray’s vocal chords were warmed up and feeling loose. All Gray needed was one take, while recording “Get That Cash” and it came out sounding perfect! When Gray had the audio engineer play back his vocals, he instantly knew that he had a million dollar hit song on his hands.

Now that Gray had his first hit song on his hands, it was time for him to create a solid marketing campaign for it. Every year from 2014-2024 Gray has been trying his best to get “Get That Cash” to become internationally known. Every year, Gray has been creating new single release cover artworks, new official music videos, and new marketing campaigns for “Get That Cash” but nothing has worked. This 2025 year, is the eleventh year since Gray recorded “Get That Cash” and he is back at it again with a new single release marketing campaign.

Gray Classic Re-Releases First Mixtape "In The Zone"

When Gray Classic officially started his music career in 2008, he was very eager to release his first mixtape project. Gray started his music career a lot later than most recording artist. Gray started his music career at the age of twenty. Gray first love was music, but he had gotten caught up chasing a football career in the NFL. Gray felt the need to rush the process of his first mixtape release, in order to make up for his late start in the music business. Gray unofficially released his first mixtape titled "In The Zone" in January of 2010. The mixtape didn't generate a lot of money for Gray Classic, but it did make him feel like a "real rapper" that was officially in the music business.

Even though Gray's "In The Zone" mixtape made him feel like a real official rapper, he was also disappointed by the mixtapes overall look, sound, and feel. Gray wished he had invested a lot more time, energy, and resources on creating his first mixtape project. Gray believes he could have done a better job with creating the songs and the cover artwork graphic design for his "In The Zone" mixtape. Gray always felt like his first mixtape project was hurting his music career. Gray felt like his first mixtape was like a track and field athlete falling in the beginning of a race. Somehow Gray was able to get back up in the race and catch up to his competition. Now, Gray feels like the new and improve re-release of his "In The Zone" mixtape will help him win the race to the top of the music business.

Gray Classic Is On fire After Releasing "Swagged Out"

Hardwork beats talent, when talent fails to work. This is one of Gray Classic's favorite quotes. Gray Classic is a talented songwriter, rapper, and singer that was born and raised in Irvington, New Jersey. Gray began his music career in 2008, after playing one season of college football at the University of Rhode Island. In 2009, Gray built his own record label company called Grind Camp Records. Gray had always wanted to be a professional recording artist, since he was a seven years old. When Gray was age seven, he was gifted a VHS cassette tape that had three of Michael Jacksons music videos on it.

These Michael Jackson music videos inspired Gray to become a recording artist. Before Gray began his music career, he focused on school and sports. Gray attended both Boca Raton Community High School and Boca Raton Christian High School. Gray played both football and basketball during his time in high school. After scoring sixteen touchdowns, while playing the quarterback position at Boca Raton Christian High School, Gray sign a full scholarship to play football at the University of Rhode Island. After one semester in college Gray dropped out of college to pursue a full time career in the music business.

In 2010, Gray released his first mixtape titled In The Zone Vol.1. In 2012, Gray released his second mixtape titled In The Zone Vol. 2. Gray would release his third mixtape titled In The Zone Vol. 3 in 2016. After the release of Gray's third mixtape, he decided to focus more on the behind the scenes work. In 2017, Gray launched his own music marketing company called Grind Camp Global. In 2023, Gray began working on his third mixtape titled Rock Star Lifestyle.

All it takes is one song or one music video to change an artists music career completely around. For Gray Classic, that song and music video is "Swagged Out". In the summer of 2024, Gray release the official music video for his hit song "Swagged Out".  At first Gray wasn't sure about what his fans would think about his Swagged Out music video. Gray shot the music with a cheap Cannon video camera, at a cheap hotel in Boynton Beach, Florida. Gray was on a two month vacation in Boynton Beach and was inspired to shoot a music video after he bought a new watch. Instead of letting the inspiration dissapear Gray, didn't hesitate and began writing down ideas for a music video.

Gray also did his first video cameras interview after shooting his Swagged Out music video. Gray has been in the music business for the past seventeen years and he has never recorded a video of him getting interviewed by a journalist. So Gray decided to not only shoot a music video but he also recorded his first interview on the same day. Gray is now on the verge of exploding to the top of the music business and is going to keep working hard until it happens.

Gucci Mane’s “Hard To Kill” Album Shook The World Up

Gucci Mane has always been my favorite rapper since I bought his “Hard To Kill” album CD in 2006. I was in Charlotte, North Carolina visiting a close friend and we went inside of a Target store to shop for food and snacks. While we were shopping, I saw Gucci’s “Hard To Kill” album on sale for the first time in my life. I was very surprised to see Gucci Mane’s album being sold at Target, because I had thought he was an unsigned underground rapper.  I told my friends to buy the “Hard To Kill” album and he was happy to do that for me because we both had already heard how Gucci Mane sounded on that “So Icey” song. My friend name was Marcus, and he was a high school football legend in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

For the next two days Marcus and I drove around listening to every song on that “Hard To Kill” album. When I left North Carolina and got back to Boca Raton, Florida I made sure that all of my friends was playing at least one song from that “Hard To Kill” album. My favorite songs on the album were “My Chain” and “Hold That Thought”. What I loved about the album the most is that Gucci Mane seemed like he was having a lot of fun recording that classic album. You could clearly hear the excitement in Gucci’s voice while listen to each song on the “Hard To Kill” album. Gucci Mane’s voice also sounded like one of those old school Motown singers from the 1950’s and 60’s.

I remember in 2007, when I was in my first year of college, my college football teammates would laugh at me when I would tell them that my favorite rapper is Gucci Mane. Then the next year Gucci Mane release “Lemonade” and became one of the most famous and popular rappers in the world! When Gucci Mane was sent to prison in 2013, it hurt me see that happen to him. The last time that I went to jail and got released was in the year 2016. In the year 2016, Gucci Mane got released from prison, after serving two years in prison. Gucci Mane has grown and matured a lot since being released from prison in 2016,

Since being released from prison (in 2016) Gucci Mane has stopped using drugs every day, has been eating healthy foods every day, has been exercising every day, has been handling great music business, married his soulmate, and pro created children with his wife. Also since being released from prison (in 2016) Gucci Mane has signed between 10-15 different independent recording artist and gave them opportunities to make millions of dollars in the music business. In my opinion, Gucci Mane has had the greatest comeback, and motivational story in the entire history of the music business.
